Students program.
School programs and activities in Tanzania.
We at Savannah Summit are welcoming students from all over the world to come visit Tanzania and participate in different activities In Tanzania, These programs will allow students from other parts of the world to learn about the lives of students at school and at home in Tanzania. Apart from participating in different activities in Tanzania, they can also go on safaris and climb mountains like Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.
Our guides are knowledgeable about handling students and we have great respect for their leaders and teachers. The leaders and teachers know more about the students than we do, so our job is to provide management advice on what is right and what is not. We arrange different programs for students to participate in farming activities in rural areas using local farming methods to give them experience on how the farming industry works in Africa. They will learn how to make water ditches, use hand hoes, produce seeds using local methods, and more. We also show them how to build mud houses using cattle droppings and small poles, and roof the houses with special long grasses. Additionally, we visit schools in Tanzania to observe how students study and this helps them experience the differences in schooling compared to their home countries. Students will also participate in building long-drop toilets, which are still common in many parts of Africa, especially rural areas.
In general, there are many activities available, so just email us and we can arrange extraordinary experiences for your students. We also arrange trips for students, such as a 7-day Kilimanjaro trek, or a 4-day Mount Meru trek for those with less time. If hiking is not preferred, we also offer camping safaris, which can be either short or long. The camping locations are completely safe. We enjoy camping safaris because we can teach students how to set up and take down tents.
If you have any specific programs you want your students to participate in Tanzania, please let us know by emailing us or by calling us.
